We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to assist in all areas of the general ledger including financial /management reporting and associated tasks and responsibilities. This is a full time 6 month fixed term role based in our box hill office.

The successful applicant will have the following

- Relevant accounting experience, with particular emphasis on general accounting tasks, reporting, financial analysis, month-end tasks and cash flow management
- An accurate, meticulous and well organised approach.
- Motivated and driven accounts person with strong technical skills
- Sound knowledge of accounting procedures related to work performed and the use of general accounting software.
- Self reliant, highly motivated, flexible and adaptable.
- Superior numeracy and computer skills specifically in excell.
- Team oriented individual willing to learn and adoptable to a changing environment
- Ability to use initiative and work autonomously

We are currently seeking a Labourer/Site safety officer to coordinate on-site Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) arrangements and advise management about any OH&S issues and engage in labouring duties

3 month contract | Full Time Mon to Fri|Brimbank location

Main duties include:
Advising CHL management & site manager regarding on-site OH&S issues, develop safe work practices on site, carry out site inductions, check work method statements, assist the Site Manager in set outs, maintain site security, general site labourer duties and other duties as required by site supervisor including general site and facility cleaning

Key skills and selection criteria:
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- General knowledge of on-site OH&S requirements
- Ability to conduct small toolbox meetings
- Proven problem solving skills
- Minimum Level 2 First Aid
- Computer Literacy
- Must have Red Card
- Qualifications in OHS would be highly regarded

This is an interesting role managing a significant portfolio and tenancies in the Eastern and Southern Regions of Victoria. This is a full time position based in our Box Hill office.

Main Tasks:
General site labour duties;
Keeping site clean at all times;
General OH & S duties
Moving materials and goods as directed by Site Manager;
Maintaining site hazards as directed by Site Manager;
Maintaining the building site to insure CHL has a clean and safe working place;
Other duties as required

Key skills and selection criteria:
Previous experience in a similar role;
Good communication skills;
Knowledge of on-site OH&S requirements;
Computer literacy
