    South Australian-approved growth provider Community Housing Limited (CHL) has announced Shane Hamilton as its new South Australian State Manager.

    “South Australia is on the cusp of a new era in affordable housing that is based on asset transfers,” says CHL’s Managing Director, Steve Bevington.  “Shane has a reputation for having productive working relationships with numerous stakeholders and being able to deliver outcomes.  We’re very pleased to have him leading our South Australian operations.”

    One of South Australia’s preferred community housing growth providers, Community Housing Limited (CHL), has given a double thumbs up to the SA government’s proposal to transfer a proportion of existing public housing stock to regulated not-for-profit community housing providers and says a fully-fledged public housing transfer program would result in South Australia “leaping ahead” of the nation in delivering effective affordable housing solutions to families and individuals on low to moderate incomes.

  • CHL OPENS A NEW OFFICE IN TAREE STRENGHTENING ITS SERVICE DELIVERY


    Community Housing Limited (CHL) has established a strong foothold in the Lower Mid North Coast region with the opening of a new office in Taree. This office will strengthen CHL’s service delivery in Greater Taree, Port Stephens, Gloucester, and Great Lakes areas. The new office, which will manage 212 properties, was today opened by Rob Oakeshott MP, member for Lyne, amidst a gathering.
